Steve Jobs Stanford Commencement Speech 2005

This film is a speech given by Steve Jobs at Standford Commencement in 2005.
Steve Jobs is the CEO of Apple and Pixar.
I am deeply touched by several words of Steve's speech.

"You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards."

"The only way to do great work is to love what you do."

"Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything - all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important."

"Life is short. Don't waste your time living someone else live."

"Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become."

Corneille Ewango: A hero of the Congo Basin forest



Corneille Ewango, a man from Congo.
I have wrote a blog about him two years ago.

Recently, I found there is video of Ewango's Talk in TED website.
In this speech, he talked about how he became an botanist and how he risked hislife to protect the reserve he works.






Ewango won the Goldman Environmental Prize in 2005.
